Woods ("we", "us") helps university students plan their week using calendar and email context. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

By using Woods at joinwoods.co or our apps, you agree to this policy.

Who we are

Woods Technologies Inc. operates Woods. Questions or data requests: support@agentwood.xyz.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account information: email and profile details from your sign-in provider (e.g. Google).
• Calendar data: lectures, deadlines, and free time from Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or calendar links you provide.
• Email data: recent messages from Gmail or Outlook when you connect — used to detect academic deadlines and course updates. We do not send email on your behalf unless you explicitly use a premium feature that does so.
• Tasks and preferences: struggles you select in onboarding, course name, suggestions you apply or dismiss, and chat messages with the Woods assistant.
• Technical data: device type, logs, and security signals to keep the service reliable.

How we use information

We use your data to show your week, rank priorities, generate suggestions, sync your calendar, and power the AI assistant with context about your schedule.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your email or calendar to train public third-party AI models.

Google and Microsoft connections

If you connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, Woods requests access only to the scopes shown on the consent screen (calendar and mail read, and calendar write when you press Apply on a suggestion).

You can disconnect at any time in Settings or by revoking access in your Google or Microsoft account security settings.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to host and operate Woods (for example cloud hosting, authentication, and AI inference). They process data on our instructions and under contractual safeguards.

Security and retention

We encrypt data in transit and protect stored credentials with industry-standard practices. No online service is perfectly secure; we work to reduce risk.

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or resolve disputes. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Email us at the address above and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Age

Woods is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
